The Bock Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Ernest Bock & Sons, Inc., a construction and hospitality conglomerate in Pennsylvania, has been making substantial contributions to charitable causes for decades.
Back in 1992, a Bock employee was tragically killed in an automobile accident. The Bock family aided in funeral expenses, and quickly realized the organization could aid others in the community through a concerted philanthropic effort. The Bock Foundation was formed.
Over the last 24 years, the Bock Group’s Annual Charity Golf Classic has chosen worthy foundations to be the beneficiary of its golf tournament. For the 24th installment, held on Friday, September 16, at The Bucks Club in Jamison, Pennsylvania, The EHE Foundation was selected.
EHE cancer touches close to home for the Bock workforce. Employee Colleen Afanassiev’s young daughter Ava has been diagnosed with EHE.
Through the event, Bock donated $10,000 to The EHE Foundation! From the entire EHE community, we give our most sincere gratitude to Bock, those who donated and/or participated, and all Bock employees.
