Reflecting on 2025 and Looking Ahead With Purpose

For the global EHE community, 2025 brought challenges, resilience, and momentum. Grounded in connection and a shared commitment to progress in EHE, we look back with emotion, appreciation, and gratitude, and in 2026, we look forward with determination and hope.

For people diagnosed with epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) and those affected by EHE, progress is built step by step, through sustained effort and shared purpose. In 2025, those steps were powered by people who showed up: individuals and families living with EHE, researchers and clinicians advancing discovery, and supporters who invested in a better future for this community. Thank you for advancing our mission alongside us.

“The EHE Foundation is profoundly grateful to serve and be supported by the people living with EHE, their families and caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and our fellow global advocates. Together, we are making a difference for people with EHE.”

~ Denise Robinson, Executive Director

2025: A Year of Commitment, Connection, and Momentum

Throughout 2025, the EHE Foundation brought people together in meaningful ways – creating space for education, connection, and collaboration. What isn’t captured here are the details of everyday work at the EHE Foundation. From phone calls and emails to strategy and planning sessions, one day at a time, one person at a time, we are proudly driving progress toward better outcomes for everyone affected by EHE.

Turning Momentum Into Focused Action

As we begin 2026, we are focused on impact - turning momentum into meaningful action with priorities that aim to improve outcomes and the lived experience of EHE.

Accelerating Research That Improves Care. Our highest priority is to accelerate the discovery of effective treatments, and ultimately a cure for EHE. This means advancing basic and translational science, strengthening global research collaboration, and improving clinical care through shared knowledge and data. Progress in EHE depends on coordinated effort, sustained investment, and a research-ready community working together across borders and disciplines.

By strategically focusing our resources, we aim to close critical gaps in understanding EHE biology, progression, and treatment – bringing treatments and care options to the people who need them.

Expanding Access to Education and Practical Resources. Equally important is meeting the everyday needs of people affected by EHE. In the year ahead, we are prioritizing the development of new and improved tools and resources that are accessible, practical, and effective. Our objective is to better serve people newly diagnosed, people who have lived with EHE over time, as well as professional researchers and clinicians.

Moving Forward, Together

The progress we seek in EHE will not happen overnight. But it will happen through focus, collaboration, and a shared commitment to our mission.
As we look ahead, we remain guided by a clear principle: people affected by EHE deserve more tools in their toolbox, with proven treatments that lead to better outcomes and real hope for the future.

Thank you for being part of this community – and for helping drive progress in EHE, today and in the years ahead.
