The annual EHE Fun Run and Walk helps fund critical and promising research on EHE and promotes awareness of this extremely rare cancer. Large events highlight our highly engaged community which attracts other sources of funding and draws researchers to the field.

No, running is not required to participate in the EHE Fun Run and Walk! You only need a desire to support and encourage someone affected by EHE. You may choose to do a 5K (3.1 miles) or 1K (0.62 miles) by walking or running or however you like (biking, skating, swimming...the possibilities are endless!). You can split it up into smaller distances or even choose not to run or walk - we don't require you to report back on your results! We appreciate all efforts to advance awareness of EHE, whether that's gathering a large team for an in-person event or wearing your t-shirt year-round. 

A virtual event saves the stress and expense of everyone traveling to one location and allows you to participate wherever you are. Gather everyone locally on the same day and create your own in-person event, or encourage your team members to participate at a time and place that works for them. However you choose to participate, you're part of our larger event taking place nationwide.

Every registration includes a t-shirt (adult and child sizes available), an EHE awareness bracelet, and a temporary tattoo, with free shipping (US Only).

Funds raised by the EHE Fun Run and Walk support our mission of advancing research into treatments and a cure for EHE.

We love to see events held in April, EHE Awareness Month, but the beauty of our virtual event is that you can do it any time. Consider the weather in your area and when folks are likely to be around, and then choose a date that works for you!
