The EHE Foundation is the leading global nonprofit advocacy, education, and research organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by EHE, an ultra-rare vascular cancer.
Our Mission
To find treatments and a cure for the rare cancer, epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE), by advancing research and driving collaboration among patients, researchers, and clinicians.

We envision a world where epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is easily diagnosed and treatable.
Why We Exist
EHE is an ultra-rare vascular sarcoma with no approved treatment, no standard of care, and no cure. People diagnosed with EHE deserve effective treatments, supportive care services, and the opportunity to live without the fear, isolation, and uncertainty about their future.
Rarity is an obstacle. It is also the reason we exist. Progress relies on us to fund early science, gather data, convene researchers and clinicians together with patients – to learn about the disease and how to treat it. Our work is to support everyone affected by EHE, to achieve our mission to find better treatments, and one day, a cure by bringing the community together.
We are here to replace fear with knowledge, isolation with connection, and uncertainty with hope.

The EHE Foundation is the largest dedicated funding source for EHE research in the world. We invest in basic, translational, clinical, and health outcomes research.
Build Evidence
Harnessing the power of people with EHE and their lived experiences, the EHE Foundation is building real-world data to generate insights and drive discovery.
Provide Education
Providing trusted, expert knowledge to empower people with EHE to make informed decisions with their care teams.
Advocate for Progress
Elevating the community's voice with clinician scientists, researchers, drug developers, and regulatory agencies, so people with EHE shape the decisions that affect them.

A small, passionate team, governed by a dedicated Board of Directors, leads our organization, with many drawn to the Foundation’s mission because EHE has touched their lives. Our research and educational programs benefit from the expert volunteers of our Scientific & Medical Advisory Board - expert clinicians and scientists who treat and study this disease worldwide.
