Preclinical Research Tools & Resources
EHE Biobank: Annotated Biospecimens
Molecularly confirmed, annotated tumor tissue, blood, plasma, and serosal specimens are stored and made available for ethical research through the EHE Biobank.
EHE Patient-Derived Xenograft (PDX) Model & Cell Lines
Human-derived EHE PDX and subsequent adherent and spheroid cell lines have been generated by the Instituto Nazionale Tumori in Milan, Italy.
EHE Extended Cell Cultures
EHE extended cell cultures developed in partnership with the Tanas Lab at the University of Iowa.
Genetically Engineered Mouse Model (GEMM) & Cell Lines
An engineered conditional EHE mouse model that closely mirrors EHE in humans, including its clinical, histological, immunohistochemical, and genetic phenotypes. Developed in the Rubin Lab at Cleveland Clinic, this fully credentialed preclinical model of EHE is driven by conditional expression of WWTR1-CAMTA1 from the endogenous WWTR1 locus.
