Krista Sheeley, BSN, RN

Krista joined the EHE Foundation Board in 2025, bringing more than 23 years of clinical healthcare experience. Over the course of her career, she has served in a range of nursing and leadership roles, including Emergency Room Charge Nurse, RN Educator and Preceptor, Utilization Management Manager, Clinical Risk Specialist, and Clinical Care Leader for Case Management and Utilization Management.

Her work has included leading healthcare improvement initiatives, including a collaborative project to improve surgical care transitions that earned first place at her local hospital’s Performance Improvement Symposium. Krista has extensive expertise in patient safety, quality of care, medical necessity review, and appeals advocacy, often serving as a liaison among providers, insurers, and patients.

With a deep commitment to patient well-being, she brings valuable clinical insight, leadership, and advocacy to EHE Foundation’s mission.
