David A. Casimir, JD, PhD

David joined the EHE Foundation Board in 2015 and brings deep expertise in intellectual property strategy, law, and innovation across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and related fields. His work spans patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, business counseling, due diligence, litigation, and post-issuance proceedings.

Over the course of his career, David has participated in the prosecution of more than a thousand patent applications across a wide range of scientific and technical areas, including diagnostics, therapeutics, drug delivery systems, research tools, medical devices, software, and material sciences. He has advised companies, universities, and research institutions on all stages of the intellectual property lifecycle, from portfolio development and licensing to litigation readiness and funding-related diligence.

His legal and scientific perspective brings valuable strategic insight to EHE Foundation as it works to advance research, innovation, and long-term impact in the field.
