Registration Remains Open!

It allows The EHE Foundation to raise awareness for an extremely rare cancer.  It also funds critical and promising research and is only one of two major fundraising events the foundation holds every year.  Events like this have helped The EHE Foundation receive recognition and sizable grants from organizations such as the Margie and Robert E. Petersen Foundation and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

Of course not! Most of our participants are not athletes; they are either affected by EHE or supporting a friend, family, coworker, neighbor, acquaintance, etc, affected by EHE. You simply choose to do a 5K (3.1 miles) or 1K (.62 miles) by walking or running (or any form of exercise).  You can even split it up into smaller distances.  Supporters also may simply wear the shirt, bracelet, or tattoo to raise awareness and proudly display their support without completing the run or walk.

It simply means that you can participate wherever you are. You will receive the registration packet (T-shirt, race bib, EHE bracelet, and temporary “Just Live” tattoo) in the mail.  Participants can also opt to do it with family and friends in a group in the same physical location or virtually as a team.  When you sign up, you’ll be given the option to enter a team. Either way, we are all doing it “together” nationwide during 2021.

*We are sold out of 2021 shirts and all orders have shipped. Participants may continue to register and "opt-out" of receiving 2021 items or order shirts from previous years, which are available in limited sizes.

You can easily register and “opt out” of the race items (T-shirt, race bib, EHE bracelet, and temporary “Just Live” tattoo).  You will also be given the opportunity to make an additional donation during check-out.

100% of the donations and profits from this event will be dedicated directly to EHE research.

Registration is open from August 1st-31st! T-shirts (and the rest of the goodies in the registration packet) will be shipped September 16th. Participants may complete the event anytime in 2021 (after mid-September).

A sponsor can be a local or nationwide business or an individual donor. Sponsorship levels are Platinum ($1,000), Gold ($500), and Silver ($250). The deadline to sponsor is August 23rd.
